Meet this Weeks Guest: Heidi Sievers
This week’s guest is Heidi Sievers. Heidi was a former Forensic Investigator Human Remains Detection Canine Handler. She has assisted both local and federal authorities on criminal investigations including crime scenes and locating human remains. She holds a PhD in Criminal Justice, Master's Degrees in Forensic Science and Critical Incident Management, and is an internationally Certified Crime Scene Investigator (CCSI). Heidi is currently a Crime Scene Technology and Criminal Justice Professor. Her collegiate research was based on forensic investigator's perceptions and experiences of stress compartmentalized as burnout and traumatization.

Finally, Heidi walks us through her Doctoral Dissertation which concentrates on burnout and traumatization within Forensic Investigators. The findings are very interesting and help to support the need for support in our lives and cultivating a feeling of accomplishment.
